This is a terrific hair setter. It is small enough to take traveling. The rollers may be too small for those with curlier hair, but if your hair is straight it is perfect. It heats up in about 3 minutes. The rollers are easy to handle. I don't like the type of clips that come with it, so I bought the plastic pinch type for myself, however they do work fine.

I already have a set of these hot rollers, but after using then while on a business trip, I'm ordering another set to use at home. They heat up in about 5 minutes. The set is very portable and contains five "extra-large" and five "large" rollers. I think they are more like large and medium, but they do a great job of curling my shoulder length, layered hair. I really like the clips that came with them too. Once my hair is set, the rollers stay put until I take them out. I usually leave them in about 5-10 minutes for medium to loose curls that last all day. The set is compact too so they fit nicely in a weekend bag, but they'll also fit nicely in my overcrowded bathroom drawer.

The Remington travel set is great. Many hot roller sets have gone to funky plastic clips to hold the rollers in place, or have changed the shapes to oval rollers. This set has regular round rollers with metal clips. They have
a wax core that keeps the rollers hot and the perfect amount of rollers, 5 large and 5 medium. I keep one set in my travel bag and one in my bathroom for everyday use.

I have never used hot curlers before and so a few weeks ago a friend let me borrow her set for my birthday, just to see what they would do for my hair. I have longer hair and a ton of it, so I just used the curlers on the top and used a regular large barrel curler for the rest. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the results. I thought the somewhat smaller size of the curlers would give me too "cute-sie" of curls (as other reviews have complained about) but I got gorgeous, magazine-quality, voluminous curls that stayed the whole night through (and heck, they still looked good in the morning!). I could not WAIT to get a set of my own. I loved the compact size of the product as I will be doing a TON of traveling, and loved how quickly they got hot and, as I said before, positively loved the results. Can't wait to get mine in the mail and start playing with them some more!!

After reading many reviews I decided on these travel rollers. As was suggested by a few other people, I purchased two sets and combined the larger rollers as a single set. The rollers are smaller than one would think for large rollers but from reading reviews I knew what I was getting when I purchased them. I spent 18 days in Hawaii and California and used these rollers every day. These are great for travel and I am excited to have them as I travel a lot!!! I was very pleased, with the outcome. If I didn't want a tight curl, I didn't leave them in my hair very long. I have some phenominal clips that I got with a hairsetter years ago, so I didn't use the clips that came with the hairsetter as those types of clips have never worked well with my fine hair.
